Total Memory Noob... :( F3-12800CL8

Hi there,

I am a Noob when it comes to memory clocking and timings. I am trying to find the best/optimal settings for this memory. Do you have any advice on timings, settings etc.

I am currently running 8-8-8-21 1T.

Is that good?

Have no idea what your rig is, you don't show CPU, mobo or even the full model of the DRAM your using - only things I can see is your at CL8 which is stock for the partial model # you list and at 1T, most will run default at 2T (though a lot of AMD mobos default to 1)

Gigabyte P67-UD4-B3 1.1
1000 Watt power supply
2600K Intel Processor with Antec Liquid cooling
MSI Lightning Extreme 580GTX w/ 3GB memory
16 Gigs of F3-12800CL8
2 OCZ Vertex 4's
1 WD Black Caviar
1 Samsung SSD 830

Still aren't showing the model # of the DRAM, only a partial, these might be Ripjaws Z or Ares, both come with a CL8/1600 model.....I know the Ripjaws Z 1600/16GB/CL8 normally will tighten to at least 7-8-8-24 at 1.54 or so, they also OC well to 1866 9-9-9-24 at 1.55
