LQQKing for more RAM

Good Evening,

I just purchased a Alienware Aurora R4 and I am looking for more RAM. I only purchased 8GB Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600Mhz (stock).

My computers specifications are:

+Intel Core i7 - 3820 (Quad Core 10MB Cache) Overclocked to 4.1GHz.
+2TB Serial ATA 3 Hard Drive
+3GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon HD 7950

Wanted to know which of the Ripjaws lines would be best.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Believe those take up to 32GB @ 1600, how much are you looking for 16GB, 32GB? That's a 4 DIMM X79 mobo isn't it? Could look at most any 1600 (or 1333) sets. Best performance would prob be from a Ripjaws Z set, closely followed by the Tridents and Snipers, then I'd look to Ares, Ripjaws X and Ripjaws......Overall performance wise, other than running BMs, you prob wouldn't be able to tell a real difference
