  • Recommendation for FX 8120 880g combo

I'm looking to upgrade both Ram and CPU from my X2 565 BE to the above cpu and increase to 16gb ( using an asus m588 v evo mobo, for now) i'm looking at these(on Newegg) but am open to to other suggestions other than the ones I have listed here.

In an ideal situation I would really prefer 2(8gb) sticks or does it not matter whether its 2 or 4 sticks with the FX processors?
    Thanks

Before I say much, keep in mind, the FX series of CPUs is rated UP TO 1866 AT 1 DIMM PER CHANNEL, and many 8120s have a problem even doing that. With that in mind I'd suggest the best bets for 1866 would be a 2x8 set like the Snipers, F3-1866C10D-16GSR, or the Ripjaws X F3-14900CL10D-16GBXL, both are 2x8GB sets.....With the sets you list, you can try any, and may get them to work by playing with voltages and maybe timings....with the 2133 sets, I'd keep it in the back of your mind you may have to drop them to a lower freq (but could probably tighten timings.
