  • eVGA 780i and PC8500

I just replaced my Intel E6700 with a QX9650. After installing the CPU clearing the CMOS I now get this "Warning! Now System is in Safe Mode. Please reset CPU or Memory Frequency in the CMOS setup" If I un link the ram to get it to run then It will only run @ 400. If I remove 2 sticks = 4gb then it will run at 800. Any ideas on how to fix this? I would like to run all 8gb if I can.

May want to reset the CMOS, there's a jumper pin on the motherboard or can remove the CMOS battery (instructions for both should be in your manual

Might try raising the MCP voltage .05 to 1.55

Looks like he's saying raise the MCP voltage from 1.5 to 1.55, it's on the 3rd screen you posted , the nForce MCP setting
