can you read the main error in the blue screen?

    1)test each module separately.

2)maybe your bios is overclocked and the best settings for the new hardware cannot be set automaticaly (it should work with any problems with auto mode)

    3) if they dont work... maybe a bios upgrade helps

The error I recieve when I get to the blue screen has something to do with Atikmpag.sys, I'm not exactly sure what the main cause of the problem is though.

This happens with any combination of the RAM.

That's a GPU related error, might want to download the latest driver for your GPU and install that, have also seen where the error was traced back to the Avast anti-virus program where it didn't like one of the ATI files. While it could be RAM related it could also be a BIOS glitch as suggested above.

I updated my GPU driver and tried the RAM again, still getting the error about atikmpag.sys.
Also, I do not have Avast.

How could I test to see if it is a problem with the BIOS, and if so where can I find an update for it?

They have a email and/or chat option available here

              http://secure3.tx.acer.com/findsyste...ort&brand=Acer

Does your BIOS allow for making voltage changes to DRAM, CPU/NB, vCore or even DRAM Timings

I ran a memory test, and after the first 2GB tested the computer would restart and try the process over again.

There were no options for DRAM CPU/NB, vCore, or DRAM timing other than:

OS Select for DRAM > 64 MB.

Did you try emailing Acer or going to their chat page to see if any BIOS updates available?

                        Try a kit like this:

                        http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122

                        It should work better.
