F2-8400PHU2-2GBHZ - one stick not being detected

Model of the memory: F2-8400PHU2-2GBHZ
Model of the CPU: E8400

What is the problem?

No detection of one stick. The system was acting funny prior to this when I added a second bank of the same kit. Where I would not get boot randomly now problem is constant. I took out one of the sticks and I think I know which one failed.

I then reinstalled it and tried to boot again. It booted but it wouldnt detect it at POST and only saw 3 GB but went into Windows. Eventually it froze.

Should I just start RMA procedure on the pair or do you all have any suggestions b/c I dont know what else to try?

Try the one stick (prob bad one) by itself and see if you can run Memtest on it, it errors come up or it won't boot, will want to go ahead and return to your vendor or RMA the set, can contact Americas - rma@gskillusa.com or world - rma@gskill.com
