  • having issues with my new ram( F2-8500cl5d-4gbpi-b)

dumped my prior ram for some Gskills and apparently i can only get them to work together at 800 and not 1066. by them selves they will run 1066, but when paired, only 800, If i manually set it at 1066, bsod at log in screen.

    My current set up

    MoBo: Asus P5Q SE Plus
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200
    Ram: F2-8500cl5d-4gbpi-b

I can try to post pics of bios soon.

    Hope someone can help

        NB Voltage 1.40V

        Row Refresh Cycle Time 80

So do you have two kits? You said when paired, paired with what?

        Thank you

ok, update, woke up this morning and memtest each memory in single mode. both passed all the way with not errors, so atleast we know ram is not faulty...i just don't get why they are not stable when paired

Change the NB Voltage back to AUTO

                Row Refresh Cycle Time 68

Leave RAS# to RAS# Delay AUTO

Write Recovery Time should be 8

Do you have the latest BIOS?

                Thank you

thanks for the reply, but already resolved it, seems ram slot A1 is faulty at 1066 mhz, ended up running them on slot A2/B2.
