Of those three the Black PI would prob run best, the Gigabyte boards (like many others) can be picky with the odd ball RAM speeds (900, 1000, 1100), especially when trying to run 8 GB

yeah, would go with PI-B also, but doesn't really matter. for an opinion if could be found HK or HZ series of 2GB sticks would be ideal, hehe.

anyway on q9550 multi is 8.5 so that's only like 425Mhz FSB and 850Mhz wun't perfect on 1:1 there. Although you would be even better on 3,4Ghz & hit RAM to 1066Mhz on 5:6 CL5. I personally run Q9450 on 3,6Ghz (on q9550 same FSB would be 3,8Ghz) & 900Mhz on DDR.

Thanks AMD/ATI for banning legit customers who asks questions of your screw-ups:

so you should run at FSB 450 to run 3.6G, is it correct?
then you may choose our F2-7200CL4D-4GBPI-B, it would work fine on your motherboard
        thanks

          GSkill,
Has that been tested on this particular mobo at the given FSB as mentioned in 8 GB as Dezmick has asked.

Your answer sounds a bit off your normal line of not guaranteeing your memory to run in 8GB (two set) configurations, I also ask because GB mobos don't particularly like to work in 8GB with non JEDEC Standard speeds i.e. the 900 ram you suggest, especially with the tight timings.

Would hate to see someone waste money on a pair of these sets if they won't even work as 4 GB, the price can run around $140+ per set and RAM is generally non-refundable.
