Asus P5N-E SLI Bios Settings

Asus P5N-E SLI
Gskill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz 4M

I had this memory running for about 30 days, but now it either blue screens, or if it does make it too Windows 7-64 bit, it will freeze the system after about 3-5 minutes.

When it was working I had the bios set too 5-5-5-15 and just over 2.0v, but everything else to auto. And like I said, it did work for about 30 days.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you have it set to DDR2-1066? Test one at a time to see if one is bad causing the problems.

So they are working now after I put everything to auto. And yes they are at 1066. They are also in slots 2 and 4, but this time, I put in my old OCZ 5-5-5-15 2x1gig sticks in 1 and 3. Running smoothly so far. Is there any reason NOT to put the BIOS in auto for all memory settings?

Well AUTO should be DDR2-800
