Help with F2-9600CL5D-4GBPI and Gigabyte EP45-UD3P

    Hello,

    right now i am using the following components:

    Intel QuadCore Q9550
    4gb F2-9600CL5D-4GBPI
    Gigabyte EP45-UD3P

    I am currently running my CPU @ 3,2 GHZ with FSB 375. The Rams are running @1200 MHZ with MCH Core @1,16 V and DRAM Voltage @ 2,1 V.

    I am not able to get my CPU nor my Rams higher than now.

    Anyone of you got working settings which i can try to get my system any higher?

    If anyone could help me with the settings it would be great !!!

    Are base timings at 5-5-5-15 and Command Rate (CR) at 2T? If so to raise CPU can try FSB @ 400 and increase vCore about +0.05 to 0.075 and for the sticks will want to raise NB +.075 to .1. What type of CPU Cooler are you running, since at 400 FSB it will be a bit hotter, the stock cooler may not keep temps in check.

      Did you raise voltages? More MCH Core may be needed for higher DRAM frequency.

        at the moment i am running @ fsb 375 with vCore on auto. i tried @fsb 400 with vCore on 1,3875 and NB on 1,26 but i still get blue screen after playing a little.

        temperatures are no problem, i am using a scythe mugen2. My temperatures are never higher than 52 ?C with prime 95 running.

        Will i also have to rise DRAM Voltage?

        I thought i should easily be able to get to an fsb about 420-430

          Up MCH Core to 1.2, if still no joy can try raising DRAM in small increments i.e. maybe to 2.15 to start then if needed to 2.2. If then stable can start dropping DRAM voltage .01 at a time while maintaining stability). Also may want to post BIOS Settings, Auto not always the best settings. Beyond 400 is a bit of a crapshoot, with the UD3P --- Do you have latest BIOS?

                Hi again,

                not working with these settings.

                I just recognized that first settings i had also crash after about 1,5 hour of stresstesting.

                these were 1200 mhz 5-5-5-15, nb 1,16 and dram voltage 2,1 with an fsb of 375.

                i wondering why this happens.

                  NB 1.2V, try DRAM Voltage 2.15 - what is tRFC at? and could you post the voltages CPU, NB, MCH etc

                      Try dropping tRFC to 62, tRFC is the Refresh to Activate Delay - Too low causes problems as does too high. Generally on a 775 mobo (like yours) around 54-64 is plenty for 2x2 then slightly higher for 2x4 - then a jump for 4x2. The rest looks pretty good. Give that a try and I'll dig out my notes on the UD3P

                        Okay i put that tRFC to 62.

                        Rest as i posted before.

                        I'll now try to give a little stress test with prime95.

                        I hope i can tell you in a few hours that it is stable

                        Hopefully we can try to raise them some more, after.

                        edit: i just finished about 3 hours and 10 minutes of stress testing with prime95. I guess this configuration should be stable.

                        Guess im just ready to go for higher fsb ? :-)

                            But atm i am still not able to push up to fsb 400++.

                            I can't tell why.

                            edit: maybe my dram voltage is too high with 2,16v; what do you think?

                              Could raise CPU voltage to maybe 1.275 and might lower tRFC to maybe 68
