  • 8500 CL5D-PI Black + Gigabyte UD3P

    Hey Guys -

So I just updated my CPU and am looking to make sure my bios is as tweaked as possible, that being said I was hoping you could give me some feedback on my bios settings here considering the memory I have.

Thanks in advance, any and all help is appreciated!

Since it's a new CPU, if it's stable now, I'd leave it as is to give the thermal compound some time to cure (maybe up to a week, depending on usage), then tweak it when A) you start OCing (assumption, based on you mentioning tweaking) or B) just want to try and fine tune. While it may be stable now, until the compound cures you may get slight fluctuations that could throw things off, i.e. appear great one minute and be off next time you boot.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

      Thanks! I'm stability testing now.

Because there are 8gigs, anything specific i should actually change to? I read up above that with another DDR2 set you recommended setting the MCH to 1.4? Would this still be applicable to the pi series?

      Thanks!
