Hey guys, I got a problem with my GA-EP45-UD3P. Here's my specs
E8400
GA-EP45-UD3P
2x 2g gskill ddr2 1066 (f28500CL5D)
evga gtx275
corsair tx 850W
Here's the deal... i can boot with one stick in any slot, and i can boot with two sticks in non-dual channel slots (1&2, 3&4), but for some reason I can't get it the system to boot with 2 sticks in dual channel (slots 1&3, 2&4). When i try booting with two sticks, the computer wont post and goes into reboot loops until i turn it off. i already RMA'd the board, and this is the second one i've dealt with.
i've followed all the advice on the gskill forums about manually setting timings. i boot with one stick to manually set timings, and then i put in the 2nd stick and it doesnt post, so i take the 2nd stick out again and when i go into bios it tells me some settings have been reset yadayada.
i've run memtest86 with each stick separately and gotten 0 errors, but once i put in the 2nd stick i get a bunch of errors in the first pass. it doesnt seem to matter if i use slots 1-3 or 2-4.
i'm currently running prime95 blend test with one stick in, and everything is running fine so far after about 15 minutes (no errors, temps are all fine)
this is my 2nd board and im getting really fed up with this problem, if any of you have ANY advice at all i'm willing to listen and try it out.
help me out if you can! it'd be much appreciated
