Question: Would there be a noticeable difference between DDR2 800, 1066 and/or 1100 with every day use and gaming. I have read in these forums that DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 is just as fast as DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15, not sure about 1100?
Also, am I correct in assuming that the lower the voltage the cooler the memory will run?
I mean if I could run at 1.8v compained to 2.1v? Should I look into getting somthing with 1.8v -1.9v?
Sorry for all the noob questions, just want to make sure I get the right memory.
Current System specs
MOBO GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P rev. 6
Processor=Intel X6800
Mem 2 x 1 gig G.skill DDR2 800 4-4-3-5 F2-6400CL4D-2GBHK
Windows XP-Soon to change Windows 7 64 bit
I wish you guys still sold my current memory I have, it runs great and extremly cool.
