  • GA-MA78GM-UD2H and F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B

    Hi,

    I was tried some configurations that I found in this forum but I can't do it to work correctly at 1066Mhz. After change from 800 to 1066, windows7 displays blue screen. Can somebody help me? there are some location where I can read documentation to configure correctly my memories?

    Configuration:

    GA-MA78GM-UD2H
    F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B on slot 3-4
    AMD 7750

    Thank for all.

    You'll want to manually enter your speed, 1066, DRAM base timings 5-5-5-15, DRAM Voltage to 2.1 and Command Rate to 2T, and you want the sticks in slot 1-2

    Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

      I tried this configuration without success in slot 3 and 4, i can't use slot 1 and 2 because de cooler can't permit it

      thanks

        Could you post your voltages and advanced timings for the DRAM

          This will not work.. well perhaps if some miracle happens on this board.

          You could try
          tRC = 36T
          tRFC(if there is such) = ~192ns(or around 68T)
          tWR highest absolutely you can. these boards are dying on errors because of tWR. (if you cannot go kas high as 15T or something like this try balancing it with tWTR/tRTW latencies).

          This might actually work, but I am pretty sure this won't pass neither Prime95 nor any harder testing. Something like CL5-6-5-15 might be error free, but that tRCD at 6T slowers the speed. You will need voltage vRAM around 2.20v(it will run even on 1.90v however 1.9v is very damn far from being stable)(actual voltage not the BIOS voltage check on OS how much this fails on BIOS) to be stable and probably HT voltages need mods too as it won't take such bandwidth like a chrismas gift.

          2 cents..

            Dear Customer

            You will need to use 5-7-7-20 timings to operate DDR2-1066. I would suggest using 4-4-4-12 timings at DDR2-800, as this should be faster than DDR2-1066 with 5-5-5-15 timings. Keep us posted on the results.

            Thank you

                    @G-Skill

                    That voltage is not enough the HT cannot hold the bandwidth. tWR cannot get high enough to be error free. That's all I got but none will solve this situation got this board right here. RAM is now windows stable under 2.160v (and even that seems thin line didn't get it even fully stable with 2.2).
