    Hi,

    model of the motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 rev. 2.1 (F6 Bios)
    model of the memory: F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
    model of the CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

    Last saturday I bought 2 kit F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK for my Gigabyte EP35-DS4.

    what is the problem: Lots of blue screen crashes at least once every 3 hours of computer usage.

    Test protocol: TestMem86+ v2.11, 60 minutes per kit and per slot.

    2 x 2Go => no freeze, no errors
    4 x 2Go 800MHz 1.8v => errors ans freeze (random)
    4 x 2Go 1066MHz 2.1v => errors ans freeze (random)

    Make the following changes and your computer should be running smoothly:

    CPU Host Clock Control - Enabled
    CPU Host Frequency - 333

    System Memory Multiplier - 3.20
    DRAM Timing Selectable - Manual

    Timings 5-5-5-15

    System Voltage Control - Manual
    DDR2 OverVoltage - 2.1V
    MCH OverVoltage - 1.2V

    Save and exit, your computer should be running smoothly.

      MCH OverVoltage ....... +.100

      Results :
      MemTest86+ 2.11 : Errors and freeze.
      Sometimes BOIS settings are reset.

        What is your tRFC? Running 4x2 generally takes a higher tRFC than what Gigabyte 'figures', might try about 82. Also what's your NB and vCore settings?

            Your BIOS screen shot shows the CPU frequency at 266, you want 333, give that a try and I'll grab a closer look when I get back - be gone an 60-90 minutes or so.

                May be in the BIOS, latest (F7) can be found here:

                http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/Support/...2636#anchor_os

                It should have RAM updates included to match up better to the more current SPDs being run, I know it shows the update as the primary being Xpress BIOS Rescue, but there are always a lot more included

                  Motherboard is a GA-EP35-DS4 (rev.2.1) and not a GA-P35T-DQ6 (rev. 1.0).
