Hi
As in the title:
cpu - FX-8350 @ 4.5ghz + corsair h100i
mobo - gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 rev 3.0
vga - zotac 680gtx (stock)
hd - sandisk ssd240gb ultra + 1tb +1.5tb +2tb
power - xfx 850w semi
currently: 2x4gb corsair 1600mhz xms2
I have in my hands 2x(2x8gb) G.Skill 2400mhz.
As I took a walk trough the forum, CPU goes as fast as 1866mhz (no oc) win only one per channel. My mobo website says it can 2000mhz OC, and some high clocks downclocked to 2000mhz, all dual-channel supported.(they do have a warning like: only one dimm per channel is supported for ddr3-1866mhz and higher speed as using am3+ cpu, but the tables have dual-channel on 1866mhz or higher checked)
So, my thoughts are:
1 - low the clock to 2000mhz
2 - low the timings to something to compensate.
So, what can I do?
ps: English is not my mother tongue. Bear with me.
ps2: I will get home only by 17th, but I want to get prepared.
ps3: Quantity may win over speed :/
