I forgot to mention i used AS SSD Benchmark last time .
I used Crystal Disk Mark just a moment ago with slighty diffrent results on R/W Speed on my OCZ .
    Check it out here.

That looks like the SATA II - which do you have the OCZSSD3-2AGT120G (SATA II) or AGT3-25SAT3-120G (SATA III) - one reason I ask, is I've heard where people ordered the III and been sent the II - don't know if it was a result of someone RMA a III but actually sending a II as the RMA and the Egg missing it and reselling the II as a III or whatever. The supposed speed advertised isn't a speed you'll ever reach, but the numbers you are showing at a 100 MB test speed are (maybe a bit slow but ) in line with a SATA II that has a load on/in. Might also check that indexing is off, no paging file on the SSD, the normal things for SSD setup.

Oh ok this is what is what i have OCZ AGT3-25SAT3-120G Agility 3 120GB SATA III 2.5 inch SSD
SATA 111 (6Gbps) Sandforce Driven . MLC Flash Memory. TRIM Support.
As per my packaging content .
My SATA ports on my Asus mobo say there SATA 6.0Gbps ports so would this be classed as SATA 111 still or no ??

Might check the SATA Drivers, here:

          http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD..._PRO/#download

and also check the OCZ forums or their support, both can be found here:

          http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-agi...i-2-5-ssd.html

Haven't been there for awhile, but they used to have pretty good folks in their forums

Thx again Tman ....i had a look on the OCZ forums and some guy has the OCS Agility 3 as me & also same issue as me on R/W speeds .
They said don't quick format, just secure erase and fresh install and it should be up to speed as advertised .

Ill give this a try and see what happens
all my drivers are fine too .

                Benchmarks

After sorting my OCZ AGILITY 3 with everything installed correctly on Win 7, the drive was still coming up with the same R/W speeds as per befor using CrystalDisk Mark.
So i tried Argus Monitor Disk Bench Mark with diffirent results ....again.

                As per here http://s1058.photobucket.com/albums/...Z-AGILITY3.jpg

You may notice from the result i was using the firmware 2.2 (latest)
AMD SATA Controller 1.2.1.292 (latest driver)
It says Maxium read 513.9 MBs
                Minimum 195.7 MBs
                average 429.9MBs
So im kinda confused at what speed my OCZ really is R&W at !

Ok i saw some guy over at the OCZ forum saying about the speeds are not up to par with his 120GB AGILITY 3.

OCZ replied ..Before you post and say "My speed is not what it should be", you need to run these benchmarks. ATTO and AS-SSD are the easiest (nothing to setup) and compare your results to the above charts.
Each chart has a default system shown that was used for the testing/specs. They are all tested on an Intel based SATA3 controller, which will be faster overall than an AMD system. You can expect an AMD chipset to be about 5% - 8% slower in some of the results.
AHCI mode is what you should run the SATA controller in and use the drivers supplied by either Intel, AMD, or Nvidia for your chipset. This will net you the best results in the benchmarks.

                    Thank you .

I used ATTO and AS-SSD as OCZ suggested and compared to there chart .
                    Here is AS-SSD http://s1058.photobucket.com/albums/...enchmarks1.jpg

                    ATTO http://s1058.photobucket.com/albums/...enchmarks2.jpg

                    OCZ Chart compare http://s1058.photobucket.com/albums/...rent=Chart.jpg

So in a sense im not far off there sequential read AS-SSD ,sequential write AS-SSD , 4k random read & 4k random write speeds from there chart ? As i have been hitting there targets even with diffrent scores each time...almost.

Just a short note as per the bottom of the chart maxumum sequential are determined by ATTO ..hmmmm !!
Anyways see what you guys think .

Not sure about you but I wouldn't be happy, when it's advertised as 500+ then they come back and say to expect 200,,I know they aren't going to run up to advertised specs (have yet to see an SSD that did, but to run at less than half the advertised speed,,I've run run SATA II drives that do better than that

Yes i agree, in a sense its false advertising on there part and for OCZ to say they got there speeds from ATTO is a big joke and lies and yet telling that poor guy off on the forum was simply rude of them !

I have seen a few others saying they can not get the 500+R/W too .
I have done all i can to get the SSD with drivers and everything else to get up to OCZ acclaimed 500+ to no avail .

Don't know, think I'd return it and go for something faster, I've got a pair of SATA II Snipers that I run in RAID, but even individually they tested better

Hmmm , well i did ask them on the OCZ forum as to my drive speeds ,they said i wont see 500+ speeds using AS SSD only with ATTO .
You can see what they replied here from post#3 http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/fo...least-on-test-)
