  • Phoenix Pro 120: detected by bios but not by Windows

    Hi,

After a year of good usage experience my Phoenix Pro 120gb has semi-died. In time of a usual work with computer Windows 7 has crashed with bsod. After reboot I being able to launch only in safe mode (in normal mode it BSODed as well) and after couple of relaunches windows freeze on start up screen with multicolor window.
The problem is that my MB (GA-MA790X-UD4, no changes in bios settings within many months) detects SSD fine on boot but even windows installer won`t see it now. I`ve installed new brand Windows 7 on a HDD and Windows` disk manager doesn`t see it as well.
I`ve tried to replace/change/switch all imaginable things like sata cables, SATA<->IDE mode, SATA ports, disconnect all other drives except SDD, etc. None of them is working.
Firmware updater doesn`t detect it as well.

    Any ideas?

never seen this before, if you boot up with the HDD and still couldn't detect the SSD by disk manager, please contact our RMA department, and they will replace another SSD for you.
    thank you
