  • Scores low due to no AHCI?

    Hi,

    below are my scores. is this because I dont have an AHCI capable motherboard? Do they make some type of ahci controller card?

        hi

        still can not see the picture, however, to save the lower performance of your SSD, please follow the steps as the sticky thread, secure erase your SSD and re-install firmware.

          I already did secure erase, and I cannot update the firmware because my motherboard doesnt support AHCI.

              Go to your computer bios, PCIPnP, Plug and Play O/S: and set to No(Let Bios configures it.) If No doesn't work. You could try Yes.

                if you were having this score after secure erase, please test it with another computer to see, you should be able to see the differences because some Nvidia chipset will cause this problem.

                  my results:





                  changed my motherboard to ahci, followed ALL tips here & at toms hardware, and upgraded firmware. Now twice as quick. Awesome.
