  • Phoenix Pro 60GB cannot be detected in BIOS

I bought 2 FM-25S2S-60GBP2 SSDs last year. I just open it last week for my new building.

I upgraded the firmware to the newest 4.2 on my old PC following the forum. When I connect them to my new PC, I found one of them cannot be found in BIOS. I tried controller on P67 chipset and Marvell 88SE9128 controller on motherboard, one of them can always be recognized but the other cannot.

After kept trying two hours, It's finally working. But now It disappeared in BIOS again after run about 2-3 hours. And the other one is always fine.

I want to setup RAID0 on these two, this issue stopped me before OS installation.

Should I RMA this? will the one sending back be the same model with same spec for my RAID0 setting?

    ECS P67H2-A2 SLI (B3)/i7-2600K

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Sandforce controller defective will cause this kind of issue, can't be found in BIOS, please send it back and we will replace the same model with same spec for you.
