I am not 100% sure what the SuperTalent ME or MX version are benchmarking at, if I had one would do it for you. I know they use the same Samsung Indilix Controller just like the new G.Skill, OCZ and Corsair use. I would look up the model number and there has to be some reviews of the SuperTalent series somewhere on the many enthusiast forums. Personally I have been a G.Skill and Corsair person for some time, but all my systems are running G.Skill now and I have been very satisfied with their performance and value.
    CPU I7-980X @ 3.81Ghz

    GPU GTX480 @ 770Mhz
    RAM 12Gb Patriot Viper Xtreme Division-2 DDR3 @ 1908Mhz
    PSU Corsair AX 850W
    SSD: Intel X25M 80Gb
    HD 2x WD VelociRaptors 150Gb in Raid-0

    Sager NP8662
    CPU: Intel Q9100 @ 2.38 GHz
    GPU: GTX 260M @ 612Mhz

supertalent mx or me version are not good...
ultradrive me version is the same as falcon with Indilix controller
supertelent say ultradrive me write @ 160mb/s but I think and hope this speed is similar to 135 mb/s of falcon 64gb series

This is a Windows 7 Experience benchmark number report for the 128GB Falcon. The number that I got was 7.1.

The Windows 7 Experience number rates your hardware, just like in Windows Vista. One of the hardware ratings is for the primary hard disk. My primary hard disk number (the benchmark) for a 300GB WD Velociraptor was 5.9. That Windows 7 primary hard disk number for my 128GB Falcon went to 7.1!! Woo-hoo! The Falcon is fast! In fact, the Falcon is about 20% faster than the Velociraptor based on those numbers.

FYI, the highest number in Windows 7 Experience is 7.9.

                  hello guys!

I too would like to see performance comparison w/ the 64GB vs the 128GB versions.. i want to get the 64GB coz that's pretty much all i need really, but im afraid it might be a significant drop in performance compared to the 128GB .. coz i've seen the reviews and comparisons of the 128GB Falcon w/ other ssd's and hdds... and im sold .. but i cant afford 128gb..

                    Here's a review just on the 64GB Falcon, but it's a fairly well-done review:

thanks for the link. i've actually read that already..

but.. i really still can't get a good idea of how much "slower" 64GB is from the 128GB variants.. i mean... boot time would be same i think since it's read only.

but say. im encoding a 20 minute video.. takes me around 5 minutes on my Rig w/ Raptor 74GB

how much faster would it be on this 64GB and 128GB? any good estimates? coz if it's like 1 second slower only heck im sold w/ 64GB.. but if it's like almost a full minute then it's disappointing hehe

                        http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...sd-review.html

                        Quite nice review by hardwarecanucks.

For the enthusiast community we consider the G.Skill Falcon 128GB to be a very, very good deal when compared to the Intel X-25M, and it is cheaper than other cutting edge ?enthusiast SSDs? out there. So, while our judgment may be controversial we think the best thing we can say about this drive is it is a Dam Good Value. It may not be for everyone, but everyone who pulls the trigger on it WILL like it.

                        Pros
                        - FAST
                        - Stutter Free
                        - TRIM capable
                        - Firmware updateable
                        - Relatively inexpensive
                        - Preloaded with TRIM capable firmware

                        Cons
                        - Intel X-25M still beats it in a few areas
                        - While ?relatively inexpensive? its still NOT cheap
                        - ?Falcon??! Should have been called Hayabusa (aka Peregrine Falcon) or Fighting Falcon or something equally grunt worthy!

and how i wish i could afford the 128GB version huhuhuhuh
so how far off is the 64GB falcon from this cool 128GB?

this graph shows the 64GB GSKILL SSD, but i dont think this is the falcon

                          ...or atleast i hope not...
