4.0 firmware problem

I recently upgraded firmware from 3.2 to 4.0 and now I have a problem when I come out of standby the screen freezes and have reboot to get the machine up again. In event viewer I get an error code IDE time out for Ide port 2 did not respond within the specified time period.

Can you try totally power off your computer, and re-open again, and let me know if this work or not.

I can reboot after failure and it comes up fine. The only time the problem happens is when it comes out of sleep mode. The problems happens intermittenly like four out of six times.

If you still could not soled this issue, we recommend that you should downgrade to 3.2, and we'll report to Sandforce about this Firmware problem.

That is what I did and it works fine now

Sandforce has not corrected the problem had to downgrade to 3.2
