  • Phoenix Pro 60GB Problem

I've got a FM-25S2S-60GBP2 and when I boot up my computer the BIOS sees the drive as 60GB but once I'm in Windows and go to format it, it's only seen as 1.94GB.

I'm using Windows XP and my current desktop is pretty old. I only intended on the SSD being my secondary drive for the moment before buying a new PC and having it be the primary.

In the mean time does anyone know why I'm having this problem? I can't format the drive as it fails and even using disk part and using the clean function fails to free up the full 60GB.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sleep,
what is its name in BIOS?
    If BIOS didn't show FM-25S2S-60GBP2.
    Please RMA it.

      Hi G-Unit,

The BIOS does show that. It comes up with all the correct details.

        Have you tried magic parted?
