would like to know what the new 3.2 firmware is addressing, over the 3.1 firmware?the sniper 120 was sent with the 3.1 firmware and just need to know what it is correcting.just can't find anything on what it changes.

Brav thank s for the answer and the link,at least the link told me g skill is still dragging their feet on a lot of issue people are having in the forum.and also that a firmware update is not the fix.also it told me that a firmware update for the phoenix line is probably going to be the firmware upgrade for the sniper series.

Almost bought the ocz vertex 2 at least I would have gotten a must needed toolbox instead of a band aid in secure erase .I probably be better off just reformatting the drive every time I need to correct my ssd peak performance.and from what I have read about the other ssd company's this is about what people can expect out of their hard earn investment.spending numerous hours in a forum trying to correct problems that these company's can't.

all I can say is G SKILL GET OFF YOU BOTTOM AND CORRECT THE PROBLEMS SHOW US YOU HAVE EARNED ARE HARD EARN MONEY.I KNOW FAT CHANCE

well I guess I can just chalk this lesson g skill just gave me to a lesson they want catch me off Gard again.

Again brav thanks for your help and time.

omega939 from what I understand the 3.2a & 3.2b are the same,it has something to do with the part # of the drive I believe, you just have to try 3.2a and if it don't work retry with the 3.2b firmware.it want hurt which ever one you try. the new frimware is just addressing some bugs that the controller sandforce has. Me I.m not going to try either one right now.

THE THING i WANT G SKILL TO DO IS GET OFF THE BOTTOM AND DELIVER A GOOD TOOL BOX TO KEEP THE DRIVES UP TO PEAK PERFORMANCE: TOOLBOX TOOLBOX TOOLBOX TOOLBOX THAT THE MESSAGE THE PEOPLE IN THE FORUM NEED BADLY

SECURE ERASE IS NOT THE ANSWER TOOLBOX IS!!!!!!!!!
