  • Interesting no drive

Not sure what to do about a current issue I have came across. I successfully updated my phoenix pro to 3.1 and then proceeded to install intel rapid store tech. Since that was installed the gskill updater no Longer detects the ssd. Any ideas?

It is my understanding that the updater (which comes from SandForce) has a problem with the Intel RST driver. The drive will operate fine but the updater will not detect the drive. If you have already updated the firmware this should not be an issue for you.

You can go into the device manager and change the driver for your sata controller back to the msahci.sys driver from microsoft if the problem with the updater is not fixed when a new firmware is released.
