  • A question on registration and serial number

Firstly i bought my phoenix pro ssd from an online store located in hong kong. Therefore do i need to go to gskill site to register the ssd before it's under warranty?

2ndly is it possible to check when the product was made and produced? I'm asking this cos i got this product new but it performed badly under benchmarks despite owning it for less than a week but i finally got back all the scores after running secure erase on it hence i'm just curious if someone before has used it before.

Do i post the serial number of my product on this forum or pte msg a mod or something?

I really really apologise if these questions have been answered before. I'm pretty busy and don't have time to read through the forum.

    Hi sanke24,

For your question, you don't have to register, we can recognize its warranty time from the label.
You can check the serial number under the barcode.
For example: 1042********, it is mean this SSD made in 2010 week 42.

        I have asked this question.
Software can see "GS******" number is the factory serial number.
On shipping label the serial number is warranty date.
