Crappy parted magic doesn't even load

I burn the iso on a cd I start up in ahci mode. I select option 1 to load unto ram. It then starts up and finally sheds the cd ron damn thing goes blank the monitor flickers showing if has gone totally off I have. O choice nut to hard reset and it's all gone wat is wrong?
