Phoenix firmware ver 3.0 instead of 3.1 ??

Just ordered Phoenix Pro 60 GB fresh and there is date says Nov 2010 at the label, is this the manucfacturing date right ? Then this is quite new.

Is this already version 3.1 ? Then why the CrystalDiskInfo (this one is the latest) is reporting the version number 3.0 instead of 3.1 ?

Should I proceed upgrade to 3.1 ?

Any 3.1 owner, whats your CrystalDiskInfo screen is reporting ? 3.0 or 3.1 ?

oh see different software versions of crystaldiskinfo but downloaded 3.9.3 and still reports v3.1

actually it is quite different between 3.0 and 3.1.
3.1 fixed some slight bug.
you can try to upgrade.

Ok , thanks for the suggestion, looks like 3.1 is to go.

Now, since this 3.0 is never heard of and its not in your "official" firmware list, is there a tool to save this 3.0 firmware 1st before I overwrite it with 3.1 ?

Who knows ? Maybe this 3.0 has the 'undocumented & never heard before' secret extra performance that SF accidentally slipped thru to public ...
