Hi All.
My crystaldiskmark shows that my ssd is WAY slower than any other ssd in this forum. Any help would be very very appreciated.
I use
Phoenix Pro 240GB (decided to buy this expensive one instead of buying a new laptop!!)
Windows 7 32-bit
Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2.00GHz Merom 65nm Technology <-- pretty old?
4GB RAM
I followed the tweaks such as BIOS update, partitions, and Intel Rapid Storage Tech.
I also tried to securely erase my ssd using Gparted, but it keeps saying "permission denied." I have tried to change my user profile to the master/root user by "su" or "su -l root" but Gparted asked me to keyin password, which I never set up --> "authentication failed" message followed immediately.
Somewhere in the forum, some users suggested using "clean all" command in diskpart, so I tried that, but no performace gain as shown in the picture above. The procedure was: backed up the entire image using acronis --> "clean all" using diskpart (windows 7 DVD booting) --> restored backup image --> waited for around 30 minutes --> crystaldiskmark
So, please help me! Thank you so much!
