How to reset Phoenix Pro 120GB to factory settings?

I bought it to use in my Mac Pro, but the OS doesn't support TRIM, so when Lion comes out, I'd like to reset the "dirty" cells going forward so the OS can keep the drive clean using TRIM.

Or, does it not matter? In other words, when I upgrade to Lion, will the OS automatically start cleaning the dirty cells and make the drive more efficient again? Can I ruin the drive running a non-TRIM OS?
