  • TRIM Tool for FW 2030 ?

    Hi,

it seems to me that the existing wiper.exe TRIM tool isn't functioning with the FW 2030 of the Falcon II. Is there any replacement tool for it ?

    THX,

    Mambobuzzz

    PS: I'm running Windows 7 64bits.

        sorry, I misunderstanding.

FW 2030 had already included TRIM, so it don't need another TRIM tool

          Non problem. But I don't understand. FW 2030 auto-trims itself ?

            Hi

when you upgrade FW2030, it has already supported TRIM.
but it is depend on does your OS support or not.

So I take it the Falcon 2 with 2030 won't auto-trim or garbage-collect in OSX?

Any plans for a wiper in OSX?

Sorry if the questions are stupid, but this is my first SSD.

                sorry nsx23

OSX doesn't support TRIM but controller should work garbage-collect.

So as long as I have firmware 2030 it'll garbage collect?

                        Sorry nsx23

it hasn't had a proper testing tool for GC so far.
