  • I got my 120GB Phoenix Pro.. now what?

So I plugged this puppy in with a power connector and a sata ii cable and booted up my Win7 64bit. What do I have to do so it recognizes the new drive? I just want to be able to store some FRAPS footage on here, I'm not even trying to boot off it.

    Hi furroy,
I guess that you haven't created partition on your new SSD so you can access it under "Cumpuer" window, is that right?
The link below is a guide to create partition and format .

No, turned out the power connector I tried to use only had four wires. When I changed that out for one with five wires Win7 was finally able to recognize the presence of the drive. Then I could format it.

Not trying to be offensive, but why a SSD for fraps?
Seems such a waste, at least have it as your windows drive.
