  • Upgrade Falcon II via USB possible?

    Hi,

I bought a Falcon II 64GB and i want to know if it's possible to update its firmware if i connect it to my external USB box. The problem is that i own a laptop and there is now other way to connect 2 hdd on it And since the drive must not be bootable, what is the solution?

    Thanks

      Adonix,
      Good news to you!
i've tried my FalconII 64GB SSD updated firmware via a sata to usb adapter, and it works!
Perhaps you could try it too, yours may also work~

find a volunteer who has a PC and would flash your ssd for you. If not, get used to it, you will always have this problem.

The good thing about the latest firmware is that it increase the speed from the previous firmware, so, it might be the last FW that we really have to deal with.

            it worked

            ok guys,

Flashing using an SATA to USB adapter was successful. I just plugged the jumper and installed the SSD inside my external USB drive and flash was ok

            Thanks
