I just Bought Falcon 64GB and I have some questions

1- witch mode should I run it on IDE or AHCI (I have an other laptop with OCZ SSD and they recommend using IDE)
so I am currently using IDE
should I change to AHCI ? Do I have to format a gain an reinstall Windows?

2- my current FW is 1881 should I upgrade or its not really impotent?If yeah please show me where I can find a full guide

3- do I need to use Wipper ?

4-I get 84MB/s write and 180 MB/s read is that abet slow or normal

1. AHCI would be best performance. Make sure you have a good stable Windows install.

2. Firmware update is not important unless you are having issues, or need something specific that is on the new release. You can find the guide in the sticky.

3. Yes, wiper can help keep your SSD like new. Over time, garbage can accumulate and slow down the SSD.

4. Your speeds are normal, but can surely be better.
