  • Falcon II 64GB Problem

Hi. I've purchased Falcon II SSD 64 GB in december 2009. After about 2 months using it for video editing moving large files the performance keeps remaining almost the same as when it was new (Happy). Well the SSD is fully working but sometimes I get corrupted files. Rebooting PC doesnt fix the problem, and the only way is using "Check Disk". After this process all files get again fully working. So my question is what could cause my files corrupted? Shall I need to use Full "Check Disk" with option Scanning and repairing defective sectors too? Maybe my SSD is faulty?
    Thanks in advance.

My SSD is G.Skill Falcon II 64mb cache firmware 1881.
My O.S. is Windows 7 64bits + applied all tweaks for SSD posted in this forum.
    My PC is Intel i5 750 + Asus P7P55D-E Premium + 2x2GB G.Skill DDR3 12800 ECO.

Since it seems that nobody knows what could corrupt data, I have investigate and tested:
    Solution 1:
Set SATA compatiblity IDE mode - solved corruption moving large video files - but I need NCQ for SSD so this solution not really worths for me.
    Solution 2:
SATA in AHCI mode, but needed to up the voltage of mobo chipset, in my case for the example:

PCH: 1.05V -> 1.15V --> seems to solve the corruption of data, still testing, for now not issues at all.

In AHCI mode you should have no problems.

Yeah, after I've add 0.1V to chipset I've no problems anymore in AHCI mode.
