anyone have tried another company's firmware on their SSD ?

4 or 5 months ago I crossflashed my two 120 GB Falcon drives to Vertex drive without any problems. But maybe the things changed. I don?t know, if it is still possible to crossflash the drives. Maybe there are new components in the drives today and it is not more possible, who knows... I can send you, how I did it, but I don?t want to post it here to the forum - it is a little bit dangerous and of course you will loose your warranty. If you are interested, write me privat message.
