  • 64GB 2 stick and 128 GB 4 stick

Good morning, I need some advice.
    I have a set for Z 790 Aorus Z 790 Master and Core I9 14900 K. It is related to 2x32=64GB Ram 6400 GSKILL Z TRIDENT Z5 - factory code is: F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RK.
memories work with the XMP profile enabled. My question is this - if I wanted to expand the set by another 64GB, i.e. the second set to make a total of 4x32GB = 128GB, would it work correctly according to the XMP profile?
I would like to mention that I previously had 4x16GB S5 GSkill 6000 cl 30 and it worked OK. Both types of memory are compatible with the motherboard QVL, but only tested in 2 sticks. Please advise. Thank you.

The stated compatibility is for single kit use only. For both DDR5 mainstream platforms running four double sided sticks, usually requires lowering the frequency, in some cases significantly. So unless you actually need the extra capacity right now, I would recommend waiting for higher density kits, that are supposed to launch later this year and then replace your F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RK with a 2x64GB one.
