Issue with Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5 RAM?

I recently purchased the Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5 kit in 6000mhz CL30, and upon installing I noticed that the lights are very very dim even when set to maximum brightness. I've tried using G-Skill Software, and my motherboard software to change it. I've owned Trident DDR4 ram in the past and it was nothing like this. I was just going to return and swap it for the same kit, but I wanted to find out if this is how the neo ram is supposed to look or if this is a defect.

They do appear to be dim, it is likely best to try another kit.
