  • DDR 5 5600 warning

New GSkill 5600 cas36 32 gig kit, Asus Maximus extreme z690, 12900k. I have manual OC settings in the bios with 1.2v for the voltages. Memtest86 v9.3 gave me a warning about possible vulnerability to hammer bit flips. Ramtest v1.1.0.0 had no errors at 1400%. I copied this from memtest86 site:

Starting from MemTest86 v6.2, the user may see a warning indicating that the RAM may be vulnerable to high frequency row hammer bit flips. This warning appears when errors are detected during the first pass (maximum hammer rate) but no errors are detected during the second pass (lower hammer rate).

    RMA needed here? Thanks!

I’m going to retest without the OC on the memory.

Repeat test passed at default auto settings on the memory.
