If you install v1.00.29, then the v1.00.27 patch is not needed.

If you're having trouble with Trident Z5 RGB (DDR5) lighting control, please go to the following thread for a patch to TZLC v1.00.27.

This patch only works with TZLC v1.00.27. Any earlier or previous versions will not work.

The release notes suggest a conflict with other lighting control software. My DDR5 5600 doesn’t appear to work with Asus crate on my maximus z690 extreme. Would this Trident Z lighting control be beneficial with Asus Armoury Crate? Thanks.

It seems that the recent Asus Armory Crate software version might not have been updated to support Trident Z5 RGB yet. They should be rolling out updates that includes the support soon. For an exact date, you might have to check with ASUS tech support or check the Asus Armoury Crate download page for any new version updates or new module updates within the software.

Also, installing TZLC likely would not be beneficial to Armoury Crate.

I actually installed the TZLC 1.00.29 and crate recognized it. It syncs with crate with that program installed.
