I understand development for this hardware may be slow, but I'm surprised that a released product still has beta software months after release, is there an ETA on the next update to improve compatibility and add more lighting modes?

They are having issues with the rgb on all motherboards and they don't want to give refunds after they said it will be out of beta by February. We are now on July and still nothing has been resolved. They work fine but the rgb doesn't.

Yeah this forum has been pretty quiet lately. I know Asus has released 2 updates of Aura software and has supposedly fixed the SMB Bus write access interlock problem that caused all of this. Since G.Skill used Aura as the basis of their LED control, I wonder why they have not implemented the same fix. Maybe they decided to abandon the software, and let Aura do the LED control?
No matter what the outcome, G'Skill's refusal to offer full refunds to those who have had enough and want to move on is wholly inexcusable. From a corporate standpoint. I think we have seen G.Skill's true colors. I still think they offer the highest binned RAM you can buy, and I would buy RAM from them again. Obviously not LED RAM. But I would buy it knowing that if push comes to shove, G.Skill will abandon their loyal customers, leaving them with a product that does not and has never worked properly, and was released without sufficient testing.
So it's a touch decision. If you get a good kit and have no issues, you're golden. If you have problems, you are on your own. I am not in love with Corsair by any measure, Their Link software is a buggy mess and has been for years. But I have had some great customer support from Corsair. They have their issues, but they have gone above and beyond for me when I had a problem. G.Skill... Hello ??

We're still working on the software. The 1.00.22 beta should already have implemented SMBus write access control, so lighting shouldn't lock up as often when another software is accessing the SMBus.
So if you're still having issues with 1.00.22 beta, it's likely a memory hardware issue, and it's recommended to contact our RMA team for a replacement. If you've already gotten a RMA replacement directly from G.SKILL, and you're still having trouble, please do check that your BIOS has been updated and contact our tech support to check if there are other factors.
