Hello,
I need to upgrade to 32gb. Right now I have 2 x 8 gb F4-3200C14D-16GTZR in my pc. These are 3200mhz cl14 14-14-14-34-2N. I need to upgrade to 32gb so I was thinking to buy the same to get 32gb. But these are now 160 euro.
Then I saw F4-4000C18D-32GVK for 120 euro. Which are 4000 mhz 18cl 18-22-22-42.
I have a 8700k at 5ghz on a Maximus x Hero board.
What would be the best to do here? I might be able to sell the F4-3200C14D-16GTZR. So the better deal to me seems to get the 4000 mhz ones. What would you advise? I like to overclock the cpu but not memory. I just want it to run at the right timings and mhz.
