Why on QVL there are not listed ddr4 Gigabyte Z690 boards? Will they work with Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 LGA1700?

So anything above 3200mhz on 12th gen cpus and Z690 is not guaranteed to work? Like problems?

Some Z690 DDR4 motherboards can handle DDR4-3600 via XMP just fine, just not all of them. The F4-4000C18D-32GVK even have some MSI Z690 models on their QVL.By spec DDR4-4000 is Gear 2 territory, only very good CPUs can pull it off in Gear 1 and that usually also requires lots of juice.

So for DDR4 default memory speed on Z690 is 3200mhz. But for DDR5 default memory speed on Z690 is 5200mhz? Which should i choose?

If you do not need 64GB+, DDR5 should be fine.
