  • G.Skill RipJaws 3600 F4-3600c16d-16gvk XMP not working

    Hi,
    I have a problem with this memory kit F4-3600C16D-16GVK G.Skill RipJaws 3600 16GB.

    My spec:
    Z370 Gigabyte AORUS Gaming K3
    Intel i5 8600K

before G.Skill was Corsair 3000MHz and works fine.

Problem is that RipJaws XMP dont give me stable 3600.. Sometimes its 3200, sometimes 3466 with 1.404V on auto. This kit is supported by my mobo on Gigabyte site.

    Please help me.

Do you have the latest BIOS? Have you tried each module individually to see if one performs differently? Are modules in slots two and four away from the CPU?

If you suspect there may be an issue with DRAM, send them in for RMA to see if replacements can work better.

Also a Z390 Chip set with an I5/I7/I9 will support up to (2) 8 Gb dimm sticks of
            G.SKILL F4-4000C18Q
            ,
an I3 not so much , got a buddy with an z370 or better chip set and perhaps an I5 /I7 ?
throw in another machine , use dim slots 1B and 2B , boot to bios , enable xmp - what happens when it tries to post ?
