Dram kit Differences

Hi i had recently purchased this kit of ram F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC i own an asus x470 Prime Pro i want to grab another 16 gig kit and throw it in eventually and noticed that when i looked at the QVL list for this motherboard it showed a kit F4-3600C16Q-32GTZNC from what i can see these are the same memory manufacturer and same timings but are they programed differently? can i just purchase another 16 gig kit or do i need to buy the 32 gig kit and have wasted my 16 gig kit?
