  • B450M-A PRO MAX and GSkill (F4-3200C16S-8GVKB) 8GB Ram Problem

    Hi everyone,

    2 months ago I bought B450M-A PRO MAX motherboard, Ryzen 5 1600 processor and G.Skill RipjawsV Black 8GB 3200MHz DDR4 F4-3200C16S-8GVKB ram. I cannot use it at 3200 Mhz.

Sometimes there is a blue screen error and reboot problems. It works normally when I drop the ram frequency to 2933 Mhz.

The company I bought does not take back. Is there anything I can do? I don't speak English. Sorry.

    Thank you.

Earlier Ryzen generations might not be able to run the RAM at highest of speeds. I had the same issue with Ryzen 2700X; could only boot the alike kit (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB) stable at 2933 Mhz. After most recent BIOS, it did boot with 3200 Mhz, but wasn't completely solid-stable - so I set it back again to 2933 Mhz. So 2933 Mhz completely stable - no issues.

For your comfort, there is very little difference in performance between 2933 Mhz and 3200 Mhz.
