  • F4-3200C14D-32GTZ + Asus z170-a + i7-6700k + XMP Profile = Fail. How to solve it?

On SPD 2133 Mhz everything works fine. If I turn on XMP Profile the PC doesn't boot any more. Any ideas how to fix this?

Is your BIOS up to date?
Did you use the recommended slots?

If so, you might need to go with manual settings instead. Sadly the ASUS Z170-A seems to be among the lower tier ASUS boards for high memory frequencies:

For manual settings you can try to recycle mine:

Testsetup like shown in the screenshot was a Intel Core i7-6700K, an ASUS ROG MAximus VIII Gene and a kit of G.SKILL Ripjaws V F4-3200C14-32GVK (basically the Ripjaws V equivalent of your F4-3200C14D-32GTZ).
