I had a problem with this machine blue screening when I first built this computer back in 2010. I eventually discovered that the motherboard was not playing nice with the RAM timings and they had to be manually set. Something happened recently and the RAM timings got reset to default, so now the blue screens are back and I can’t remember how to set the timings properly. The BIOS has a ton of options for timing that need to be set:
(All settings take numeric values unless specified by possible values in parenthesis. Also, all settings have the option for ‘Auto’)
tCL
tRCD
tRP
tRAS
tRFC
tWR
tWTR
tRRD
tRTP
tFAW
CHA RTL
CHB RTL
tWL
RttNom
RttWr
PD Exit Mode (fast/slow)
B2B CAS Delay (disabled/0-28)
Command Rate
Enhanced timing (enabled/disabled)
DRAM Voltage
DRAM CTRL REF Voltage
DRAM Data REF Voltage
Please give me guidance on what these settings need to be.
