Hello.
my specs are :
Intel DX58So2 Motherboard - latest BIOS.
i7 950 CPU
RipJaw-X DDR3 2x8 1600 memory
Ge-force GTX 680
The problem is that my BIOS won't detect the XMP profile, it only gives me the choice for manual or automatic so I have to set it up manually.
Using CPUZ I can see the xmp profile configuration which is as follows: 10-10-10-30, trc 40, 2T, 1.5v
So I enter Bios and choose the advance tab to set it at 1600 and all the above.
I've been using it for 2 days now and it seems stable but sometimes when i'm running games they suddenly crash to desktop with no warning, this are games that have been running with no problems in the last months.
Is this because of the RAM? and the second question is, why doesn't my BIOS detect the xmp profile???
thanks!
PS: I've been having bluescreens now so I'm switching to 1333
