I am planning to purchase Trident X F3-2133C9Q-32GTX, a quad kit, and want to split it up into two pairs of 16Gb for two machines. In the future, I expect to use all 4 sticks on one machine, so I want to buy a set of 4 now rather than 2 matched pair. I want to run a pair on the AMD board down at 1600 and want to know the best manual settings. I know that I could buy a pair of Trident X 1600 @ CAS 7 and hope to get close to that. The x6 1045T is stable overclocked to roughly match a 1090T (3200Ghz). It was an end of production run 1045T and has no problem at this speed. FSB=240, NB=1920, HT=1920, Core boost enabled (auto) to 3840Ghz. Currently running a 4Gb pair of GBRL @ 6.66 multiplier for 1600. Voltage at 1.56. Settings are 9 9 9 27 2T, TwTr cmd 5T, Trfc 110, Write Recovery 10T, Precharge 5T, Row Cycle Time 40T, RAS to RAS delay 4T. In addition to the primary settings, I am concerned that the preloaded secondary values for the 2133 would be too far off for running at 1600. I don’t know if my current secondary settings from GBRL would carry over.
